Opened a French restaurant called “ Maxim’s” and brought it to prominence.
Set up “INTERHOGA”, a training centre for the hotel industry in Düsseldorf.

Following three years’ comprehensive apprenticeship at the Grand Hotel du Dauphin, Moulins; progressed through a number of junior hotels positions, including cook, waiter and front desk clerk to the post of Maitre d’Hotel at the “Grand Hotel”, Cannes, and Manager of the gastronomic hotel restaurant “Vistaero” in Monte Carlo ( 1968-1970).
